I have always had a passion for photography since junior high when I discovered my dad’s 1960’s Pentax. I began experimenting with that camera taking it to shows and shooting some really bad and occasionally a few decent photos. Before I started pursuing my career in design I took a few classes in college, learned how to process my own film in a darkroom and wanted to pursue photography as a career. I have always loved making images be it in the camera or with a computer. What does this long rant have to do with anything? Well, not too much but thought I’d share a few photos that I took recently at home and in Laguna Beach, CA. I picked up a Canon 30D recently and absolutely love it. After a few months of hard work and a VERY long work weekend, I launched the Gold Rush Tattoo website for my buddy Colin and the rest of the Gold Rush crew. Go check out their new work and if you’re in Orange County, go check them out and get a tattoo or two.
